Big Tree Solar Project Supports Wyoming County Community in 2019

Wyoming County Fair

We understand from firsthand experience that it is absolutely essential to be an active part of the communities in which we work. We seek to establish meaningful relationships that translate into long-term partnerships with local communities, and we strive to build trust, credibility and support by working in close coordination with local organizations, schools, and community members.

We are pleased to have supported several organizations in Wyoming County in 2019 and look forward to staying involved in 2020. In August, we participated in the annual Wyoming County Fair at the Pike Fairgrounds by sponsoring a booth, the Fair Queen Talent Contest, and by bidding in an auction benefitting the Wyoming County 4-H. Big Tree Solar Project team member, Jimmy Moreland, placed a winning bid on two chickens in the fair’s “Broiler, Market Goat and Cake & Pie Auction” before ultimately donating the chickens back to be re-auctioned. The fair provided a great opportunity to meet members of the Wyoming County community and have some fun! In addition, we were happy to support the Bennington Historical Society through a donation that supports the society’s mission to recover, preserve, and share information about the history of Bennington Township. We look forward to the New year and to continuing to support local organizations and events like these.
